Hi there! CometCow is brought to you by Sandy and Ad

We're currently living in Northcote Melbourne after our big move to Australia from the farm of Ad's family in Boskoop, the Netherlands(see the shot below) but we're going to move to South Gippsland somewhere during next year, to start (we hope) a self sufficient farm. We also want to set up a business producing and selling mosaics and felt articles, perhaps even organising courses in the same. By clicking on the following links you can see some of the stuff we are planning to do there. If you like the looks of things, don't hesitate to contact us and find out what is possible considering courses and orders.

Ozzie BBQ on the farm

For now you'll have to do with the pictures from the Netherlands untill we get this part updated.
In April 2003 we adopted three pet lambs. They were small to start with, but with only three bottles of milk a day (from a Heineken bottle, of course, being Dutch lambs) they grew VERY quickly!

Here are some pictures of them when they were still in a pen on the front lawn:

all together

Lola, the smallest one, didn't make it (rather sadly, she drank her milk too fast one day and sort of blew up) but Bessie and Olga are doing fine as you can see here. We bought them a rather handsome and rugged black ram to get them knocked up last spring, but he decided he preferred the elderly ewes in the next paddock instead and threw himself in the (deep) ditch between the fields, forgetting he had half a year's worth of fleece attached to him, and sank. ("Stellaaaaaaaaaa!") He hadn't even taken care of Olga and Bessie's needs before he did that, so the gals are not to become mothers, not this year at least.
