Helloooo, I'm Sandy,

I was born in Melbourne, but have spent a good deal of my life travelling around the world. In 1995 I finally moved back to Australia to settle down at last, I thought... and then I met Adje, the love of my life, and so I moved to Holland in 1998 to live with him. And now we're (finally) back again and this time, really, to stay.

I have a lot of hobbies, mostly messy and time consuming ones. My biggest passion is making mosaics. I also like felting (especially boots). And I knit a lot: Aran and Norwegian jumpers, recently lace knitting, and I plan to start on 1 ply shetland wool lace shawls next. I also love food (cooking it and eating it!), and travelling. and boots (just call me Imelda). And I am passionate about animals and can hardly wait until we get our own farm so we can get some dogs and alpacas, and hopefully lots of wildlife.
