Hi I'm Ad,

I was born in Leiden in the Netherlands, but I have spent most of my life in Boskoop. I grew up on the family farm here, and I also went to primary school and played football at the Boskoop football club Floreant. I moved to Delft for a while to study electrical engineering. After finishing my studies in 1997, I went to Australia for a year on a working holiday, where I met Sandy. I brought her back to Holland with me less than a year later. After five and a half years together in Boskoop, we have moved back to Australia in May this year and plan to live happily ever after.

I haven't been able to play football (for the Aussies, read: soccer) since that sport got its own back at me a few years ago, but I still love watching it. I'm hoping to have a crack at Aussie Rules now that I'm in Australia an who knows, maybe even cricket! Further of course, I love riding my bike, a 25 year old Kawasaki.
